Job Description of QC Administrator

Overview / Responsibilities

Amec Foster Wheeler is recruiting a QC Administrator – Offshore to join our growing team in Brunei. The exciting project will run for at least five years, adopting our world-class systems and making use of our extensive global expertise.


Successful applicants will be responsible for the leadership, management, supervision and guidance of the day to day activities for delivery of the Quality Management scope. This scope will cover deliverables, planning, option selection and economic reviews. This is an end to end rejuvenation scope and as such will involve interfacing with other disciplines, planning, construction, procurement, and client operations. 


  • Carry out Quality Induction to all Business new starts
  • Administer Induction List / Corporate Sign Off of Procedure List / Induction content
  • Administer Project Quality Monthly reports and manage the accuracy and delivery of the reporting
  • Create Brownfield & Asset Management Monthly QMS Report using Project data
  • Maintain the audit schedules, proactively ensure audits actioned against schedule and maintain the schedule in line with KPIs
  • Compile audit findings into categories
  • Provide feedback on audit results / trends to engineering though Monthly Engineering Report for improvement action and assist in trending
  • Coordinate Review Meeting
  • Update / maintain the BMS SharePoint Site and carry out updates to Function Deliverables folder structure/access rights when required
  • Maintain the corporate / project calendar and update progress and Quality delivery folders
  • Create and maintain the Microsoft Project Plan for Business Improvement Project
  • Own and maintain QC Inspection register / database
  • Raise and Progress Interim Reviews for Quality Personnel
  • Administer Lessons Learned Database and request any IT hardware / software / office stationery
  • Create and maintain any Quality Function Email Distribution Lists and Assist in scheduling LRQA assessments

Skills / Qualifications


  • Candidates with Ordinary Level qualifications, preferable BTech
  • Held / holding a similar position within similar industry or work in quality control environment
  • Has performed or assist inspection work in field work



  • Computer literate (MS Office components)
  • Ability to use action tracking applications / database
  • Ability to plan / coordinate and execute daily work activities on time
  • Ability to work from instruction, take minutes of meetings and produce reports
  • Ability to communicate changes to the QMS effectively within AMEC / Project Teams
